Jen has worked in various music industry roles for a range of companies including Fiction Records (Universal) as an A&R scout, Sound Travels Live as a tour manager and coordinator, DF Concerts as a promoter, King Tuts Recordings as a label manager and Back Yard Music as head of business affairs. With a degree in Business & Marketing and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education she’s also lectured at a range of higher educational establishments including Point Blank Music School, The Academy of Contemporary Music, SAE Institute, Diversity in Visual Arts and The Academy of Music and Sound. As well as this she has also featured as a regular guest on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Scotland as part of the A&R zone introducing new music, served as a peer reviewer for Routledge (global academic book publisher), served as an advisor to PRSF and spent 5 years on the T-Break panel advising on acts for the new band stage at T in the Park.


In 2020 Jen formed The Bothy Society, home to a vibrant family of Contemporary Traditional Scottish musicians working across management, record label, marketing and synchronisation.
